Feeling Orange

Each championship I promise myself not to get involved in anything to do with football.

And each time I fail (sorry, Michiel!).

After last night's match between Italy and The Netherlands, I am feeling orange all over again. Man, what a game! Counters left and right, good team play and a fairly pleasant interaction between the players individually.

Minutes before the battle would begin the barman asked me if I wanted to join the betting pool.
'Yes!', I said, never missing the opportunity to win a game.

Strangely enough he warned me against adding my bet.
'The only remaining score you can bet on is 3-0 for the Netherlands', he said.
'Ah, well, never mind then, hahaha', I said, despite feeling like winning.

Ik hoop echt dat jullie het winnen.. maar anderzijds.. diep diep in mijn hart hoop ik geen nederland in de finale te zien.
Reden? Dan mag De Bleeckere misschien nog eens aantreden.. onze Belgische trots in de bergen. ;)
