Old Man - Rembrandt van RijnAs part of my birthday present, my godmother visited me today in Leiden. She'd promised me a gift, but we also visited the exhibition about Rembrandt van Rijn's mother - specifically the use of family members by Rembrandt and his colleagues/students.

The exhibition was wonderful, very detailed and interesting. Afterwards off to have lunch (at Vooraf en Toe). Walking towards the bookstore, we decided to take a detour via Aan Tafel and Het Klaverblad.

All in all a good day, although the weather could have been a bit warmer!
