No news from my front - I am in the process of collecting all the necessary forms to join a House-Society where I will be put on a waiting list for a "Hofje".
Hard to explain what these are ... perhaps photo's will be easier:

Ok, so am I at least a little correct in thinking that it's like an organization of people who live in nice 19th-century houses?

So what's the deal with the whole waiting list thing?

Jennifer - basically yes, it was once built for the poor, now it's sort of 'exclusive' living --- the waitinglist is there b/c there's enough people wanting to live in a Hofje, whereas the actual houses are few!

Sofie - me too -- will you come help move?

Michiel - 1) receipt still not found; 2) saw some updates .. will look for more ;) gotta work now!
