JKR has answered a lot of questions but at some I have stopped reading them. Id like to keep my own thoughts as I not always care what the author themselves thought what they were writing but I care more for what I was feeling as I was reading the book. However I will check out the Encyclopedia whenever it comes out (well probably have to wait another 10 years).

I loved the book read it twice already the only thing I dont like about it is the rythm of it (too fast in the beginning then it slows down to a crawl and then super-fast again). I also miss a chapter after the big battle where we get to say good bye to the fallen and recreate ourselves in the victory but instead we jump straight to 19 years later ... no fun.

The battle for Hogwarts was superb and the final duel with Voldemort epic. But it is still kind of confusing all the stuff about the wands ... you are not the master but I am the master because I stole the right owner of the Elder Wand of his other wand ... confusing.

About the characters Neville was a wonderful surprise in that scene when he kills Nagini I think the top floor neighbours heard my exclamation. I missed Ginny though I tought she was going to have a more important role in this book.

About Snape I am happy he was one of the good guys at the end but I still dont like him much. He just helped Harry because of his love for Lily but because of his animosity with Harrys father he despises Harry which in my opinion is childish and unfair. I agree he was killed in a rush just like the others but Dobby which makes you think why so much attention to Dobbys death (I admit I cried a los when dobby died) and barely a few words for the others.

What can I say ... I am sad it did finish. I read my first Harry Potter 8 summers ago during my visit to USA ... almost a whole life ago.

JKR is answering most of the questions we all have in several interviews so we will not have to wait for the encyclopedia to know what happened to the different characters.

Will you buy the encyclopedia? In a way I am curious but I do not want to wait another 3 years (probably quote anxiously) or longer before it appears

Yea Im still not so sure about that epilogue because it is so vague that it just leaves more things unanswered--like what else did they do in 19 years besides get married and have babies? Surely people such as those weve followed throughout the series would do SOMETHING more in that time? Plus what about those they dont mention? I guess one has to buy the encyclopedia to find out.

Oh and good point about Snape and his potions skills.
