The Carta Marina (latin: the book of the sea) is the earliest map over the Nordic countries containing details and placenames. It is in woodcut with nine blocks giving total dimensions of 1.70×1.25 m (height×width) and was created by the Swede Olaus Magnus (1490–1557), temporarily on diplomatic visit in Rome for the Swedish government. However, this situation turned out to be permanent (because his brother Johannes Magnus got in a religious feud with Gustav I of Sweden).

mvblog has a new style - "Basic" - which basically has nothing :)

Michiel has finished another piece of briliant coding: Monthly Calendar.

Instead of links to the last few months, you can now view 3 years where highlighted months show the posts.

I'll update the CSS tags to my styles this week, so that the calendar is fully utilized.

Was inspired to create another theme, based on the round-corners the Mozilla engine provides CSS.

If you're not seeing round corners around the main area and the sidebar, I'd suggest you download the Firefox webbrowser here.

Everything has been a bit quiet lately here. This doesn't mean we did nothing in mvblog. Work has been done to implement most RFE tickets. All defect issues are resolved.

As of now, no new RFE type tickets will be accepted for 1.5 anymore. This gives our SVN users a week to test their setup. If no defects will be open by friday I will release mvblog 1.5
So do your work, get out there, and test test test.

While Michiel is staying up late to code, Sofie and I are enjoying the 'fruits' of his typing.

As you can see mvblog is becoming a full-fledged blog, and it is no longer a 'simple' tool.
